For this particular cake i was asked to re-create somebodies Grandad for his 80th birthday. I really enjoyed doing the finer details of this cake, such as the news paper, remote control and slippers. I believe these personal touches are what makes this cake special :) - 10" square vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream filling.

Cupa and a cupcake :)
A very good friend of mine surprised me with this lovely personalised 'Cake Mix' mug for my birthday yesterday! I love love love it!
I had to take a photograph of its first usage with my scrumptious bumble bee cupcake :) Another beautiful birthday present given to me by my auntie. Cookies and cream flavour, yum :) x
Cath Kidston cupcake case! Another little birthday present :)
(these may become an ornament on the kitchen self, they're too nice to use!)

Happy Birthday Princess
I really loved creating this cake! Mainly because I was given full control to design whatever I liked, based on the little girls interests :) - An 8" round vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream filling.
The DP Queens of Cakes competition
Today i entered The DP (Dorothy Perkins) Queens of Cakes competition in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness. I decided to enter a 10" Square vanilla sponge 'Noahs Ark' themed Christening cake - One of my personal fave designs! I decided on this one because I love every inch of detail on the cake; the ark itself is made from Rice Crispy cake so the cake is 100% edible and 100% yum! :)
- Please spare a minute and vote for me and my cake! x
